We are open again from 17th May with all covid measures in place whilst maintaining our friendly environment. 

Our full menu is available to sit in or takeaway and we have seating outside for up to 10 people.

In Wales today it is estimated that there are forty-thousand people who lay claim to having some concentration of Italian ancestry. This is as a result of the periodic migration of pioneering Italians to South Wales at the turn of the 19th century.

Giovanni Francesco Orsi at the age of thirteen travelled to South Wales to work for the Bracci family in Cafe Royale. Giovanni eventually inherited Café Royale which was then passed down to his son who in turn passed it down to his own sons who are the current owners and operators, Marco & Giovanni Orsi.

Since then the Cafe has become a prominent part of the high street and continues to provide a quality eating experience in the heart of Pontypridd.
